Um, 300 damage/3secs=? If you are waiting until your dots fall off to recast them as a summoner then something is wrong. I also noted in my post that dps will be lower due to efficiency. These numbers were tested in AK on a Dullahan. Even if you take out ruin spam. You are still getting pretty good damage.

It's not even about the parser. SMN dots tick for 500+ every 3 seconds if you're geared, and even more when RS is up. If you did nothing else but keep your dots refreshed and didn't use your pet, that's 170 dps. Ruin hits for more than 200, so even if we round it down to 200, that's an extra 80~ dps.

So, let's ignore crits and 1k+ Festers to make up for the GCD's that you'll spend refreshing dots, and that's 250 DPS. With Relic+1 and some Allagan/AF2, Garuda DPS is enough to push you well over 300dps.

I'm in DL + relic +1 and allagan ring. Bio/bioII/miasma tick for about 260-280
