I still don't understand how a crafter doing the main story line effects anyone else?

    Does it hurt anyone?

Does it effect the people around them?

No. It effect no one in any way except the person playing that character... and why shouldn't a person who enjoys crafting be able to enjoy the main story line? Why should we force people to level either a DoW or DoM to be able to see the story line, especially when it doesn't directly effect anyone else playing in any way.

I'm sure many will get around to leveling a DoM or DoW at some point, but let them do it at their own pace and when they wish too... no one should be forced to do anything they don't want to do before they want to do it. Thats the point of a MMO, to develop a character the way they want too... not the way the rest of the players FEEL they should.

I agree with you that the main storyline has nothing to do with whatever class someone is. People are just whining that the game is trying to balance out a need for battle, craft, and gathering classes and they somehow feel that they are entitled to say something along the lines such as, "My archer is more important than a weaver." That is the thought of someone who is being an elitist jerk and will always find a way to point out the smallest thing in the game and cry, "The sky is falling."
