If you know how to play your class, then your gear will be not that big of an issue. Skill does more for you in AK, than Gear. Most important part is having a decent weapon (Darklight from Wanderers Palace or Ifrit+). Other then that make sure you have your accessories set, cause those will help a lot and are cheap to get from the Market Boards (Rubelite Stuff etc.) Other then that try to squeeze in Praetoriums and CM to get your Darklight Stuff ASAP. Once you got half DL on MNK, there shouldn't be any issue to join Shout groups for AK etc. and get it done quickly
I've been spamming CM speedruns. Thats how i got my first dl piece. CM seems way easier than PM cause of the cannons
