That's just it though...it's actually looked down upon in game development to throw out videos of in development content because it will:

A. change
B. waste of resources and money to constantly produce videos every time you change a texture for example.

You reference TERA a bit, I actually play it currently. They preview content in videos just like SE did with FMO and like SE does with FFXI:

When you bring up Tera and how "they always post videos" you fail to mention the game has been released for months. Not in need of an OVERHAUL, and trying to generate hype for the JP/NA/EU audiences because the C.E.O himself said he needs the game to do well in other regions or Tera may be in trouble finances wise.

It does matter if it's ready or not, especially to this community because people bitch about everything.

You do realise that most people have got to the point where they are fed up off waiting, its no wonder people are bitching at this point.

And you do realize it does take awhile to redesign a whole game practically under a new team? its like re-do FFXIV again but with the same world and adding small patches that lead to the big ones...

I am aware it takes time to redesign the mess that Tanaka left behind and I guess we will see the fruits of that hard work when the new battle system is revealed although I'm seriously not getting my hopes up for that.

When I suggested a video before I wasn't asking for a walkthrough of the finished content I was asking for a teaser kind of like a few custscenes of the people who went missing in the new dungeon.

It's impossible for you to not wait.

You passed the time with another game until something you liked popped up in 14, that's called waiting. As for a teaser video... nah we don't need it.

Not even counting Localization, Developing and testing take forever even for simple gameplay elements.
