I wish you luck then. I'm a huge FF fan myself and wanted this game to succeed, the game itself isn't bad but I can't play a game where a company can just wipe a whole month of effort, providing me with no screenshot and log that show me what I did.You have a very good point Kevin, part of me feels a total fool for continuing to play in the hope my account will be investigated.
The thing is both me and my wife like the game itself and there are some nice people on my server on my FC and Friend list.
I will continue trying to get this issue resolved.
I find it funny how this community continues to defend their all mighty 'Square-Enix' even when they're at the wrong here.
But yeah, put money where your mouth is and stop supporting this company. Send an official complaint to the CEO:

Want to keep losing money quarter after quarter Square Enix? Keep doing what you're doing.
I personally think that you should keep up the fight, if someone took my gil stating that I was cheating and not suspend the people who bought my products I would be angry... They should at least suspend both parties those who sold and those who bought while the investigation pends...You have a very good point Kevin, part of me feels a total fool for continuing to play in the hope my account will be investigated.

You have no idea how angry I am but let's face it, we got absolutly no support from the forum mods, everyone that call CS are told that they can't help them since everything is handled back in Japan. I really want a GM to check the logs of all my transaction on market and trade but it just won't happen.I personally think that you should keep up the fight, if someone took my gil stating that I was cheating and not suspend the people who bought my products I would be angry... They even took the money I made from doing the main story quest, how fair is that? Does it mean their own npcs are gil sellers?
If you can I would do a credit card charge back and get your money back for this game.
Don't bother. That's fraud. Either you return and refund the game in the initial 30 days, or you just write it off and walk away from it. Not to mention those of us who bought in in 2010 and didn't return/refund it then.
Credit Card chargebacks are only for two very specific reasons, and you are absolutely shooting yourself in the foot if you do it outside of those reasons.
a) Where something was incorrectly charged (eg Ordering fast food and getting charged 100$ instead of 10.00$, failing to notice till you got home) I've had this personally happen and it took 3 months to clear up, and I cleared it up by talking to the manager of the store AND by emailing their customer support.
b) Where you were charged for something you didn't buy, as in your card number was stolen or was double-swiped.
Charging back for something you did buy is fraud, and what will happen is SE will just go "here's the receipt" and the CC company will then deny the chargeback. Then the credit card vendor will tell you to take it to small claims court/arbitration.

andIf you reject this User Agreement, then you will not be authorized to play the Game. In that case, you may either return the Game to the place of purchase subject to that retailer's guidelines, or you may contact Square Enix to request a full discretionary refund (which will not include shipping and handling) if all of the following conditions are met:
(1) You are unable to obtain a refund or exchange from the place of purchase; and
(2) You request the refund within thirty (30) days of purchase; and
(3) You have not already accepted this User Agreement; and
(4) You have not already entered the Registration Code accompanying your copy of the Game; and
(5) You purchased your copy of the Licensed Software in, and are currently located in, the United States or Canada.
I'm sure you'll really enjoy the costs associated with that.10. DISPUTES
10.1 Agreement to Arbitrate. Certain portions of this Section 10 are deemed to be a "written agreement to arbitrate" pursuant to the Federal Arbitration Act. You and Square Enix agree that we both intend this Section 10 to satisfy the "writing" requirement of the Federal Arbitration Act.
I wish you luck op! However I have my doubts SE will do anything, they seem to not even keep their Na/Eu customers updated on certain things like they do with their jp customers. :/You have a very good point Kevin, part of me feels a total fool for continuing to play in the hope my account will be investigated.

If you search high and low on the interwebs you'll find translations, but that isn't how CS should work, I doubt they even care. I hope you get your gil back though!![]()

Thanks, will keep trying.
Getting past the automated messages is the hard part lol.
You do realize that most ToS are thrown out in court right?
You know what's fraud? Telling people they have 30 days to play and then suspending them with no proof of the player themselves violations their so called 'ToS' and then refusing to credit the accounts the 30 days of lost play time. Now THAT, my friend, is fraud.
