This is pretty much the easiest way to tell if you are ready for Titan if you are a non-tank. You should be above this HP (personally I think 3,200-3,400 is ideal) in your battle gear without "cheating" by melding VIT to accessories. AK gear and an Ifrit or Garuda weapon are the lowest item level methods to do this.

Ifrit and Garuda are do-able with a Level 55 HQ Crafted or GC weapon and AF gear, but depending on your group you will probably want at least some pieces of AK gear for Garuda.
