When you have to distract yourself from the game while playing it, you know there's a problem.

I said the same exact thing in a linkshell last night. Whether it's gathering or Philo farming, I'm always doing something else at the same time.

As for the OP's question, distractions from the mindless grinding helps me personally. With 2 screens i can play the game while watching tube or whatever. The content we have now and the means to get the gear just lacks variation.
