Maybe because they want to play at their own pace or not deal with other people's bullcrap. I see no point in trying to powerlevel when there isn't anything to do at lv 50.Soloing in FFXI you had the choice to do on BST and DRG any job really just need to be smart ....
But is people on 14 want to solo and barely get 7-9k and hour more power to them where parties me and my ls do are 22-27k/hr in a party . I dont get why you want to be alone and not talk to anyone or lvl faster ...
and those who thought FFXI was too hardcore to get a party must have joined when no one was lvling anymore or during abyssea where everyone lvled everything to 90

IMO, if you "don't want to deal with other people's bullcrap" you shouldn't play a MMO. Go play just about ANY other FF title and you won't have to deal with people, but in a MMO, I expect to deal with people and I expect them to deal with me. If they don't like it, there's the door to your single player console onry games, have fun.

Some community? There is no community. No one in this game wants anything to do with anyone else and that's hurting it severely. If you don't want to play a game with other people, don't play MMOs. It's as simple as that. Just like with people who don't like playing games with people from different countries (hello League of Legends community, I'm looking at you) then don't play online. It's. Not. Hard.

Ignorant little pup. That wasn't a stab at the game, it was a stab at the community. All of you little crafters and solo players. YOU people are holding back the people that would like to party up and actually enjoy the game. Instead, you people sit all day and craft or run through and "solo" (which doesn't make sense in a freaking MMO) while the people that want to party have to stand on the side lines waiting for someone, anyone, to join the party. This game is TOO solo friendly and it's failing because of it.

Here is a question . People who love soloing why play an MMORPG?
I play MMO cuz i like to meet people and have fun with friends and like the challenge of forming a group with your friends to take down a monster and feel proud of that .
Now why do you play MMO?
