...why didn't you just make a new character in the low pop server and keep the old one in the high pop server? It's not like they're charging you for extra characters.

Or was this before we found out they where extending the free trial?

Yeah, this was a week after the game came out. I only scrapped my character because I didn't feel too bad only losing a few days.

because he was playing on the high pop server for only a week, therefore his character was very low level when he left. he spent 6 months on the low population server with his friends which means likely multiple r50's on the low population server and likely one r15 on the other. would you want to lose all the work you had put into the game to start new again?

Sorry, I stopped thinking for some reason when I read it.
Yeah, that sucks now, but they'll probably set aside any possibility of merging servers till a bit after the 1.18 update just in case it grabs in more people.

Fixed it for you. Merges -> Not gonna happen until all arrows have been fired, and then, if it's still needed, maybe.
