Then again, XI is a MMO game. Forming parties and relationships is kind of important for those and I just realized a lot of the direction in XIV tried to complement that ideal without having to make it its main focus and that might be why certain features feel so weak. They're spread out between trying to appease the single player and forming bonds and relationships with other players.
I like that 14 enables the solo player to accomplish more then 11. I don't want 14 to be exactly like 11. It would be nice to have some of both. I agree with you Gramul.
