Gear reccomendation for Scholar

Hey thanks for replying, I was thinking about this and I hope other geared Scholars can give there input.

So Omnilex + 1 gives this over regular Omnilex:

+5 Vit
+4 Mind
+2 Determination
+4 Spell Speed

Whereas if I go from Darklight Cowl to Vanya Hat of Healing + Argute Gown it gives this increase:

+12 Mind
+12 Vitality
+11 Piety
+47 Crit Rate (Again someone please confirm crit rate is next most important stat to mind for Scholars)
-17 Determination


That's huge increases versus the +1 weapon. So is +1 Ominlex really worth it? I understand Determination helps with heals, and that 17 decrease is significant. But, for a scholar that +47 crit rate is just o.O when considering how important Aloquium is during Coil. There is defenitly some indirect stat here that I am not taking into account, so some stat expert in this game please confirm or go into more specifics in this matter. Would be greatly appreciated.

Update :

I just used this calculator, and it gives a 3.87% increase in healing with Ominlex +1 and 3.29% increase in healing with Argute Gown and Vanya Gear with Crit Materia.

however it says this is for WHM, so the crit rate might be more emphasized if one was to make a Scholar calculator?

1 magic damage is like 5 mnd, which you didnt mention a +1 wep gets 3 more magic damage, thats 15mnd basically right there.

Also, vanya hat can only socket 1 crit materia.

our 2 shield spells, get double effect if they crit, so crit is pretty important, however... i don't think it's possible to get enough crit at this stage to make much difference.
