considering the fact that vs13 is, at this point, just using up money, I doubt it. Also XIII-2 will be garbage just like the first one (sequels for FF games are never good) They aren't making much money off of 11 atm. There are only...what..4 servers up now? yea....

It's more than 15 servers (after the server merge)... after almost a decade...

Though, I do think SE should finally get their act together and produce good games again. And think things through, while they're at it. I'm looking at you, Infinite Undiscovery/ The Last Remnant/ XIV/ Mindjack etc. .

Wow, you need to learn how to count. 4 servers? LOL Anyway welcome to my ignore list, you've been spouting crap out of your mouth since the first day of these forums.

you obviously aren't keen on sarcasm. There are currently 17 servers but that number is soon to drop greatly as another merge is planned. The number will basically be divided by 3 so you're looking at between 5-6 servers after they are done with the next merge. As far as me spitting crap, until recently, I've defended this game to the core, but recently, the dev team has started to lose my trust, especially after the last patch.....

We have information on what they're doing, read Yoshi-P's last letter. Also Matsui is going to post soon, we'll have information on the dungeons soon, and Yoshi-P's next letter (with an updated chart btw) is coming soon. All you guys have to do is be patient.

I think many people just feel that the updates carry too little information and come too infrequently. I for one am looking forward to the information coming this week, but I can't help but wonder why they could not have set out the information on how the system will change for us when they announced it. What is preventing you from revealing this information? Is it legal matters? I can understand that, but I would like to know if that's what's really preventing them from telling us.

this game will not be charging us for a long time....its no where near as full-featured as rift wow or frankly any mmo so untill se see a fully featured basic form of this game dont expect a bill. which wont be for a LONG time from now

FF12 was pretty damn good, sure the story was pretty lacking, but there was so MUCH to do in that game. FF13 was pretty good in story, graphics, and music, but it didn't have near the content that 12 had. That's where they screwed up. Anyway hopefully they learned from their mistakes from 13 and won't do it again with 13-2, also I know Versus is gonna be also, pretty much anything that Tetsuya Nomura makes is gold.

To me every FF game in the main series has been good all the way up to this one, not perfect but good, so I'm happy with my "turds".

I think Nomura is their worst story teller. Haha. He makes great gameplay, but his stories are always "WTF is going on" to me. Don't even get me started.

I play games for the story. So naturally I don't like 12 or 13. I did like aspects of them, but I didn't say what I said to debate the merits of other games. I meant I won't be buying anything with "FF" on it for a long time, until after I rent it and give it a test drive or have some resounding recommendations from trusted sources (read: not magazines or the internet). So as a guy who has always turned to FF for good story telling, I am not pleased this past decade. XI is the best they've got and XIV story starting up good but idk what to expect.

So that said - when I said "turds" I meant Crystal Chronicles, Chocobo Dungeon, yada yada. I said anything with "FF" on the box. Honestly, I liked Chocobo Dungeon (Wii) better than FF13. That says something cause 1 I expect to be goofy and disappointing, the other I expect to be the best the developer/publisher has to offer.

Versus and XIII-2 look great on paper and in trailers, but so did XIII and XII. My stance is solidified by the humongous disappointment of XIV and of it's new policy of "open communication" which is thinly veiled silence and secrecy.
