When Will We see New Information

you are completely missing the point of my post. I don't care if they give us 1 update a month, but in that update I want something that actually shows that they are doing something instead of just "we're working on things." Give me pics/vids/ SOMETHING.

i think we are getting things as soon as they're done, which is why we currently don't get huge previews on updates.
in other games, content is being stored untill a point where they can release them alongside with many other things.
in FFXIV's case, things are currently being developed, tested, and as soon after that we get them right away.
it's not like SE currently holds back with releasing content/fixes, more like they are working very hard, which is why we sometimes only get half of the cake (like the battle system related changes, and other balances)

we can expect bigger previews like we had them in FFXI as soon SE get's the job done on fixing FFXIV up.
untill then it'll stay to a few pictures, dev notes/posts.

I'm not throwing a fit, I just wish that they would give more information when they give us their updates. Again, saying "We're doing things" isn't doing anything for me.

people like you think that I'm complaining because I want info on this patch. I'm not. I'm complaining because on EVERY patch, they basically say that they are pressing buttons and doing stuff but aren't really showing us WHAT they are doing. FFXI was not this way at all.

dev's can say well here these things we are looking to impliment in 1.18 and these are things that we are still looking into you know not saying that everything i said i want but saying that its rumors out there and alot of ppl want to take breaks and come back and wait what happens if things stay the same game flops you all go to solo friendly mmo's where your given everything

The ideas presented thus far are pretty interesting and I have been reading this thread for awhile So to keep up with the norm... keep those ideas coming!
