    I was actually thinking this exact thing just a few minutes ago. I would love to keep playing, since I was on FFXI for 7 years, but I'm not going to stay if we don't get some kind of communication. I have r50 CON and I hate the rest of the jobs, so give us something to do or AT LEAST information on upcoming additions (Jobs/dungeons/items that don't suck/battle system/mobs)

    These kinds of comments really upset me because as it stands SE has been more transparent and communicated more directly with the players for FFXIV then any other MMO after release for the last few years. I don't remember Funcom being even half as vocal or communicative as SE has been when it came to AOC after launch. Nor have any of the other devs for games I've played.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders.     I'm not necessarily wanting vocal, but I would like previews or something. For example, before Abyssea was released (long before) they had a preview trailer on the site. As the add-on got closer, more things were put on to the site (Weapons, armor, mob details, field pictures, etc). That is what I would like to see. They have to flat out tell us anything, but I would like to see previews, spoilers and teasers. Just saying "We're working on a new battle system!" isn't saying anything to me. Saying "we are bringing new monsters!" isn't saying anything to me. Why not post pics or videos or SOMETHING other than just saying "we're doing it."
