am sitting on the fence at the moment, not sure if i really want to continue.

Had a chat with 3 mates on vent last night, between us we have just under 50 years mmo experiences combined and its funny we all agreed this was boring compared to others.

i did say combined... aye we have been playing mmos since eq1, UO, eqoa etc etc so there is 4 of us... 50/4 = 12.5 years... which sounds about right.... i started mmos when i was 14... am 27 now lol...

as it stands im 70% not subscribing again, the game and content does not justify £7.50 a month, especially for ps3, the game has too many flaws, is incomplete and chronically lacks in content...ill have a look after a few patches

If I didn't already buy Crysta at release, I wouldn't. There's just not enough to do right now, and FATEs are way too boring to level alt jobs.

I don't think i've even played longer than 10min in the last 2 weeks+.

you can fill address information in the square enix page. Still I wanted to change my country but couldn't. So, if my credit card doesn't go through there is no option to buy crysta because I'm in a country where that is not allowed for some reason.

Before the white knights flood this thread with their grand standing defense I'd like to point out these facts:

Why are you not subscribing? Is there something that just drives you up the wall? graphics settings too strict for your PC?

major issues i have:
1. combat and the global cool down just seems so slow
2. lag spikes and how the client / server work
3. not enough content (not talking about end game content) there isnt a journey you can remember
4. levelling is way to fast
5. Fate system is over kill
6. No tell function in instances
7. cant right click block
8. world seems to linear - exploration seems boring
9. death doesn't mean anything in this game - no sense of fear
10. crafting atm is meaningless
11. characters just all seem the same, all look the same, all use the same rotations

Bolded are being addressed in 2.1. As for the rest, well, I do agree on some but disagree on
a few others. Nothing wrong with your concerns they are legit. A lot of it is perspective.
Some people find crafted gear worthwhile, some not. Same with exploration, etc.

Hopefully 2.1 and/or 2.2 will clear up a lot of these issues for you so you can enjoy the
game as you would like.

Yes I am going to continue playing. In fact I have already sub another 2 months. Why??? Cause lalafells that's why... <3 <3 On a more serious note, do not forget that FF14 has only been out for 1 month or so. Which means there will be future upgrades, future contents, more lalafells. Why should I give up on a game who is still so young over trifling issues which can be ironed out in future expansions/patches? The graphic is beautiful, environment breath taking.... and all that can run on my cute laptop. There's also the nostalgia factor, since there's quite alot of references to the old SE games in ff14 XD
