Throwing names out IS toxic behavior. You are simply trying to call somebody out and give somebody a bad reputation over personal issues. There is no need to encourage that kind of negativity and gang mentality. If you have a problem with somebody and talking doesn't solve it then either ignore them or for serious issues report them. Telling others who they should and should not play with is not anybodies call to make.

Under normal circumstances, being a jerk like this would get you a bad reputation on your home server. Before cross-server dungeoning was a thing, you really couldn't afford to be a total asshole, because people would remember you, and they would blacklist you. Those were the good days, when people minded what they did and said.

But cross-server, there are no consequences to being a negative part of the community so people let themselves go much easier.

That is why we need account based (not character) friendlist and blacklists, that are also crossserver.

And when you tell them to not pull, their answer is "lol its low level dungeon, get over it".
After all that said i usualy write: "you pull you tank" and let them die repeatedly.

Got a BLM that started pulling Ifrit HM because people wasn't full DL. We were in a normal run on Duty Finder.
He didn't want to have the 15 mins penalty and wanted to piss everyone off to make them leave.
We tried and he got killed at the first aoe because he was standing in front of the boss spamming Fire.
Hopefully I won't get to see him again.

Totally agree. SE should also give us cross-server black list function. Vote-kick might easily be abused by group of people but black list is just a personal option to not parties up with someone you found unpleasant.

For cutscenes especially Praetorium id suggest watching it at your Inn room, Praetorium cutscene are longer than the dungeon itself and some people may be short on time.

If some people are short on time they may want to queue up for CM then. Just saying... I've never been in a Praetorium group that didn't include at least 1 new guy watching cutscenes.

If you don't have time to run a dungeon, DON'T QUEUE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

It's not rocket science. Wait until you have the time. Don't mess up the fun of others who aren't on the same time restrictions as you.

If you use the Duty Finder you SHOULD have at least a hour ahead of you.

Agreed. If you want to guarantee you're going to do a speed run you need to form a like-minded group on your own server. You queue at your own risk through the DF and it's not fair to ask people to skip cutscenes.

They were made to be watched while going through the dungeon, others who chose to go to Praetorium through Duty Finder, chose to match with random players, if that random player is new, or one of those that enjoys watching the cut scenes every time, you have no choice but to wait and watch or just go on ahead without that person. If you can't handle that, it's best to form your own group.

Anyways, devs understands that something needs to be done to justify those who wants to enjoy the cutscenes at same time those who want to rush through dungeons to obtain tomestones, etc. They are trying to come up with a plan to try and solve this issue, so until that is released, you can only rely on your friends to group with OR use the Duty Finder at your own risk. Don't complain if that person wants to watch the cut scene. Try to be civil, having temper and swearing at that person is just going to hurt you in the long run, if the GMs decide to give out the punishments for harassment.

As for the OP, should just remove that players name from your post, but if it's me, I would report that person. Have been reporting good amount of players recently... Rude Kids /shakeshead

Just like the RMT report we should have a report on how many rude players got banned for harassment.

SE is very good at banning toxic players. I was in a DF group with another guy from my homeworld who spent the entire instance harassing the group and being a racist a-hole. I reported him at the end of the instance and within 2 hours he was banned. His name was replaced with a "(deleted)" on my black list and he is no longer searchable on the Lodestone character search function.

tl;dr SE's ban hammer is swift and true for toxic players.
