    Like some have already mentioned there is no reason why there couldn't be good options for both types. I really dislike weapon = class overall, such a lousy system to begin with. Options and variation is a good thing and like so many times with this game they decided to have restrictions for no reason. Hopefully there will be good wand/shield options for you soon OP
