Yes I and many FC members last night had serious unplayable lag issues that caused a number of us to just log out for the night. Hopefully tonight it will be better but I'd really like to see a response from SE acknowledging the issue.

Apparently you are new to the internet. Wow had this same problem years ago,and it was Comcast, and had nothing to do with them. And thousands of people suffered, and it was not Blizzard's fault. Might be the same for FFXI also back in the day, and now FFXIV.

Yep - when comcast was going through, let's call it their rebellious stage it affected people connecting to XI, a game designed for and capped at 56k.
Yeah, My FC still having all kinds of lag issues and we all have different ISP's
Still an issue for many with no dev response...I expected more.
I didn't see any of this yesterday, although it was a huge issue when the OP was written.
That's actually something different. It's a bug that I can replicate pretty reliably by standing next to a party member and using Jump (I'm a Dragoon) the second the Repel cast finishes. It knocks me back in midair, once the Jump animation concludes, I teleport back to where I was standing (as per Jump mechanics), and whoever I was standing next to goes flying back 2sec later, about 70% of the time. Nothing to do with server lag, everything to do with some sort of bizarre coding conflict when determining player/party positioning.I can confirm at least with my FC group. AK run. Repel hit me 7 secs after knocking back the rest of the party. Every party member witnessed me get knocked off from it 7 secs after.
We are located at different locations across the US, with different ISPs and hops to the server. This was a server side delay spike, most likely caused from overloading instances.
I have had the same issues for about a week.Healing is almost impossible in a dungeon.I did find a fix and outlined it in a thread titled, "My temporary solution to packet loss/lag. I hope it works for you all too!
So tonight I was helping some of my FC members on HM Titan. I lagged so bad that I kept getting the Disconnect symbol, everything on the screen would freeze and when it would unlock I would be dead. I have been experiencing lag issues for the last couple of days. Characters seem to be moving in inches on my screen. I have gone through everything I could possible do with and too my pc and isp. This lag issue is not on my end at all. Up until the downtime on Monday I would get little hiccups here and there but now it is almost unplayable for me as a WHM and BRD. It seems to be getting progressively worse for me.
The game has become pretty much unplayable since the last server maintenance. I've had constant rubberbanding of characters and R0's the entire week no matter what time of day. No problems with anything outside of FFXIV. If it was something they did during the maintenance like it seems then I would expect it to be affecting a lot more people than what's been posted in this thread.
