Latency for me is up to 2400ms in the open world, 800 in dungeons.
Compare to my other game Rift where I get between 50ms and 90ms, depending on time of day.
Me too! So weird. My receive topped out yesterday at around 15k. I was getting R 0 just a few minutes ago. 90k'd twice then the character list wouldn't load.![]()
So I take it you did a tracert to the servers, and know for sure it isn't something interfering with your connecting before it reaches the servers?
Likely the standard DOS attack post ban hammer of RMT accounts.
Just as I replied in the last thread I am also getting bad lag. This time it seems to have worsened however. Whereas before only my sending would drop to zero, now either my sending or receiving will drop. If not both.
I just got out of AK, my group had to call it quits just after the first boss;
I was on Paladin, couldn't tank to save my life because of the lag, I couldn't stun, mobs would freeze onscreen for around 30 sec before finally falling from full hp to 0. Same with the first boss but on that the freeze was much longer. I'd sit there spamming every hate grabbing move that I could and prayed to the twelve I held it (Miraculously, I did! haha... Atleast I think... it died facing me if that counts?)
I asked my party if anyone else had issues and they said it was choppy at times but fine, others in my linkshell though complained of the same issues.
Looks like I'm stuck crafting again until something is done about it~

It surely you are trolling to me. Can you read how many people here saying same? I even have used WinMTR and ping 184.107.107.176 with very good results. I repeat, I can play fine all day until evening arpound 20:30-21:00 GMT+1

This is what I experienced. We died 3 times on Demon Wall in AK before beating it last night because the entire team except for me was lagging. Mine was running just fine, but on vchat my team kept complaining about the terrible lag. Apparently on their screens I was still at the beginning of the dungeon but they could see my damage happening and my moves firing off out of thin air. And then when we got to final boss I future walked all the way up to them. Luckily the team stopped lagging enough for us to beat the dungeon, but we spent way more time than was necessary.
There can't be a single topic on this forum where people agree SE is at fault or at least SE should be doing something can there? Always have to have a few people jumping on the posters saying they're not smart enough to tell when the issue isn't on their side, also that it's all their fault.
