While this is certainly correct, there are many times where one of your ranged can move ahead as you are on the last mob of the previous group and pull it for you, so that when the last mob dies, your tank can flow right into the Succubus.

All depends on the kind of group you have, I suppose.

Funny enough even though I know hot to do the speed runs... I don't do it. You could potentially be banned for it. After all they did state that players were running the dungeon as unintended. So if it was not what they had in mind and they fixed it... repeating the same thing again could be seen as an exploit.

Bard pull > Blunt arrow silences Void Thunder > at this point tank has hate.

    Flayer

I've never been able to silence Mind Blast on Bard. However, Bards should be silencing Canker and Void Thunders as there is another Tank called Warrior. Even if the tank can avoid them, you have the ability, use it as it doesn't have the mob change direction for melee DPS.

As a tank, I usually run ahead. As stuff is down to 10% or less I just leave and run ahead, the mobs chase me with ranged beating on them while moving and the mobs die, worse case scenario they get kited a couple seconds.

Something I generally do is a jump based Shield Lob or Tomahawk (I have both tank classes to 50). E.g. I jump up and turn in mid air and shield lob and land forward without interrupting my forward run. So I kite the mobs behind me as I move onto the next group. I don't really give my dps a chance to get ahead of me so I provoke the succubus, pick up both dullhans, etc etc.

Also, Warriors Get provoke as well, it's cross class-able after you level gladiator to 22.

Woah, I learned all that by myself, except for standing behind to avoid Void Thunder III. Thanks for that one. Nice compilation of tips, Alerith.

And yes, on the last group, you can pull the Succubus alone by using Provoke, for example. Just check de aggro lines! If you see the lines go FROM trash TO the Succubus but there are no lines FROM the Succubus TO the trash, it means you can pull the bitch away without pulling all trash. This is because the trash links aggro to that monster but monster doesn't link aggro to the trash. Always check that.

Cast silence before 50% mind blast.

One thing I would like to add:

PROVOKE can be used to pull Succubus's to you. It reaches and lets the tank get the initial pull.

Bard please have a silence macro ready.
    /macroicon "Blunt Arrow"
    /ac "Blunt Arrow" <f>

Target the flayer boss, press shift+F on it, or either have another macro /focustarget.

So when you're busy killing the golem adds, you still can silence boss when you see mind melt. it always happen every 30sec and you're skill should be up

While this post pertains specifically to Paladins, a DRG or MNK who know how to pay attention can also reliably stun Obliterate from the white golem.
