Another relation to the issue can be your ISP, cause the crappier the connection speed, the slower things will load in those situations. Are in you NA or EU, who's your provider? And don't trust what any of those "connection speed test" sites that will tell you that you've got 100Mbps down with time warner or something, because they're compete BS. No civilian ISP in NA offers anything close to 100Mbps. The highest connection offered in the NA is 56Mbps. Not sure what it is in EU, but i've been told it's not as high as in NA or Japan.

You can get 500 - 1000 Mb in some countries already but it's pretty common to hav 100 - 200 Mb easilly.

Um.. No? Fiber Optic download speeds are typically around 80 - 100 mbps. >.>

And how many civilian ISPs have fiber optic in the US? like 1, and it's only 56Mbps. Government ISP's, those that are owned and used by the military for example, are all Fiber optic, and run at insane speeds that civilians can't get. Japan is the only country in which you're going to get 100+Mbps.

This did not "fix" it for me, but it is "better". I highly recommend all you PS3 players to turn effects to minimum

Not just PS3, but PC users as well. Works across both platforms. It's not fix, but it does help.
