    What do you mean level each class on a separate character? You mean on my character that is a THM I should level an archer on that character as well? How is that possible?

    If you didn't know after lv 10(?) you can switch your class simply changing your main weapon so you can become an archer on the fly equipping a bow while not engaged. FFXIV lets you manage multiple classes for a single char and you can even use some abilities from other classes after unlocking them.
    Each class guild will give you the base weapon after completing their first quest to unlock the class.

    ohhhhh. Ok that is the problem then! Sorry I had no idea. I came from MMO's where you couldn't do that. In addition, I never played the predecessor to this Final Fantasy MMO. Thanks for explaining it to me!
