    So your basically saying you're fine with monks being useless, (IGNORE THE PVP PART) Bosses or any enemies that have any type of absorb damage effect or ability.
    Seriously whats so hard to understand about this? Play a monk and level it to 6 You'll be using Bootshine > True Strike > Snap Punch. Okay now try to do that against any mob that has an absorb effect. Bootshine > bootshine > bootshine etc...
    You cannot use those abilities if your not in the right stance. But doing 0 damage to a enemy doesn't activate the next stance so you just spam bootshine ability and rely on auto attacks to break the absorption buff. If you don't play a monk or know nothing about their abilities then move along.. Their rotation is to complicated to explain to someone that doesn't know what abilities they have and what those abilities do.

    I have an alternate character on another server who mains pugilist. I know how important the stance switches are at level 20 already. My opinion has not changed. A temporary PvE buff to inconvenience some of the classes is not really something worth complaining about unless it does not extend to other classes' similar things (GLD combo skill damage bonus etc.)

    It's not a buff, its a bug. Seriously? you mentioned earlier its pretty much "more hp" so if they have "more hp" monks are garbage and thats Okay with you thank you for being okay with a broken mechanic.

    Not understanding... Are you trying to solo this boss or something?

    Sorry to break it to you, but why should it surprise you that there are some mechanics in place to make one character rely on other characters in order to accomplish some goal, in particular boss fights? Why should it surprise you that perhaps your most use at that moment is probably in killing the very minion that is casting this stoneskin rather than trying to power through it mindlessly.

    There are also a number of skills you can grab from other classes which might prove useful as a way of still attacking through this sort of defense in the future... In addition to your touch of death you may want to think about grabbing fracture from Marauder, Feint and Impulse Drive from Lancer. All three skills can be used even as monk, and will always give you a means of keeping up high damage on a target even without the combo bonus.

    Really though, you should be killing those additional spawns... Your healer will thank you.
