I suggest you hire a retainer.
Then, you entrust to him/her.

That's not a real solution when the want is to discard the item. Currently, at least some of the swimsuits (the new models) cannot be discarded. I accidentally purchased a male top on my female character, and it is stuck in her inventory or on a retainer for the forseeable future. I want it gone (and ideally refunded the ash, as in able to sell it back for what we purchased it with, but that's no big deal).

Yep. I've got the same issue. I bought some swimsuits from the Summer Fair, not realizing that they were the same as the swimsuits from 1.0. I tried to put them in my Armoire, and it said, "You can't store duplicate items." I can't discard them, can't store them, and can't sell them.

Same thing with the AF gear. I did the AF quests in 1.0, but you have to do the AF quests again in ARR. I left several pieces of my AF gear in my Armoire while doing the quests. So I ended up with several duplicate AF items. I can't store the duplicates in my Armoire, can't sell them, and can't discard them.

Between swimsuits and AF, I've got about 11 spots in my inventory that are permanently taken up by duplicate items. And I can't get rid of them.

Help us, SE. Please.

Then end up looking like a bikini pervert with 3 womens bikini tops in his inventory cause the vender said i had 0 of them but they allowed me to buy a womans top.
