If you knew anything about Aussie media, you would not say that at all. Murdoch (think Fox News) controls 70% of the media here and you don't get much more pro-corporate, ultra-conservative than that.

If you're having problems with maintenance times, try playing on a Japanese server instead of a US one - here in Australia we're a completely different time zone (the US is a day behind us after all), so of course US server maintenance is going to impact us.

Because Australia is around the same time zone as Japanese time though, their server maintenance works out well for Australia (I live in Perth, WA by the way so a connection to the US would be even further for me than someone in say Sydney). Also the ping times are reduced compared the US ones as well.

As for that whole thing about the state of the US government at the moment, I don't think we should really be discussing that here due to it's political nature (and hence against the forum ToS).
