Again maintenance during Aussie prime time

No matter when the maintenance is occurred, it's always disrupting somebody's primetime location. It has disrupted JP's primetime, Na's primetime, EU's primetime, and of course AUS's primetime as well. Find something else to do, surely you can find other games or watch TV or something. two hours of maintenance won't kill ya. Maintenance happens for a reason.

Every damn game we cop maintenance and can't play....
Just for once it would be nice if it wasn't us that gets the short end of the stick on everything.

We already pay more than anywhere else.
We already have worse latency than anywhere else.
And we get to lose our ability to play during our prime time.

So tell me how this is fair?

The one thing I remember seeing in those "This is Murica's prime time gdi!!1! derp" threads every time was that every time one was made, an Aussie would jump at the chance to beat their chance and say "It happened to us all the time, but you didn't know because none of us ever complained about it."

It's funny, whenever I see these maintenance time, I'm like "Welp, FFXIv's down, I'll find something else to do". However, I find these "OMG YOU SPOONY DEVS RAN MAINTENANCE DURING MY PRIMETIME. HOW DARE YOU!!!!!!11one" to be VERY amusing.

With 1.0 and on the europeans had the short end of the stick. It was around 9pm and usually took around 2-4 hours.

So who cares, we just played something other or went to bed.

Actually funnily enough there have been American Threads saying exactly the same thing, but Aussies are always shafted in all games so i'm not gonna hold my breath for changes, should be in American prime time in my opinion. their threads were funnier to read, especially when they start saying they are the center of the world etc...

Totally agree 100000% on this. We need maintenance during US times just so we can laugh at them.

It could be that SE just hates Australians. Or it could be that SE is bowing to the whims of the evil Americans, just like the rest of the world. Or it could be that there aren't enough of your 13 dollars a month in Australia to justify the hundreds of thousands of dollars it would cost to put servers and staff in your country.

You'll have to decide which one you think is the case. I'm gunna assume they just hate Aussies.

Wasn't Obamacare messing stuff up, it was your pro-corporate ultra-conservative republicans did that. Even people outside the US know what's going in there.
