One thing I learned about Nerfs is that there are only 2 kinds o nerfs
1) MEchanic nerfs = Damage reduction hit, slower cast time, and a bit less than current mechanic
and
2) HP nerfs = HP is the only thing reduced. All damage, mechanics still perform the same as the pre-nerf version
If they do a Mechanic nerf there will be hardly any need for a Full DL set nor Ifrit weapon or higher. Mechanic nerf tend to reduce the requirement for High ilevel gears more than HP nerfs.
HP nerf will mean people would stop complaining about people having Ifrit Weapon just to run Titan HM because seriously there is little difference between a DL/GC weapon and a Ifrit weapon but damage and mechanics being the same as pre-nerf will still require full DL set to handle the damage rate of Titan's AoE.
If you want to stil have the current challenege of Titan HM then pray for HP nerf because it provides less gear demand reduction. Also, it still help stop the people crying bloody mary for not having a Ifrit Weapon. Seriously how many times must we keep playing Russian Roulette with Ifrit HM chest before we can get that 1 Primal weapon "required" for Titan HM.

If the time come that Titan (hard) get easier, you can still challenge Titan (extreme).Nooooo!, I havent reached 50 yet! I want to feel the weight of the earth! Why do they have to kill it for the true fans!
No seriously, I do not believe in nerfs, when I hit this content and it becomes nerf I will feel less interested on tackling it. I want to get my ass kicked across the chasm and fail and learn and rage and at the end be satisfied for beating something hard.
What Yoshida said in an interview about making old content easier after 2.1:
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...=1#post1324244GW: By completing the Crystal Tower in 2.1 will the players obtain high level rare items?
Yoshida: Of course. Everything up till here is what’s inside patch 2.1, and starting in patch 2.1 is easing of contents. We’re going to increase the top but the bottom of the slope will get easier, although it’s just a little, you should be able to feel it.
GW: Top being higher is easy to understand, but what do you mean by “the bottom of the slope will get easier”?
Yoshida: The top of the Binding Coil of Bahamut will not change in 2.1, this will not change until patch 2.2. In patch 2.1 we’re going to have 3 dungeons, 2 hard mode, and one high difficulty dungeon, so the amount of tokens will be more than what it is now. Therefore, it will be easier easier to increase your item level. Also you will be able to obtain more of the one rank lower token output will increase, so you can gain item levels at more ease. So it will be easier to reach the top. But in patch 2.2 the top (end-game) will get higher, so top players will go even further top. And then the contents will spread (imagine a mountain with pointed top [end-content] and wider bottom [contents getting eased over time]). This cycle will start from patch 2.1.
GW: So it’s kind of like going up a pyramid hierarchy a little?
Yoshida: if you just basically go higher in the pyramid, for those looking from the bottom, it will just look like it’s gotten higher. But in actual it’s not like that, it spreads out so even at first it looks like a high mountain, over time in about 6 month time, it will probably look more like some hiking course. However, even if it was easy to get there, once you reached the goal you’re going to find out that there was more up ahead. But as you go up slowly, it starts to ease out. I want to give this feeling to the players.

Player
i heard that their expection of the amount of people clearing titan HM at the TGS FFXIV booths was exceed by so much, that they were considering buffing titan HM lol
netcode issue =/= content difficulty

I hope they'll nerf it soon and all the other doging-aoe-or-you-die. maybe not nerf it but do something with the connection mechanics, like give us more time to dodge or change the way the server check our positions or something.
why they're selling the game in Europe, Asia, and Oceania if people from those regions can't play?
Not before 2.1.
AS SE SAID already they will nerf the old content once newer content is out. So get an FC and do him now for the full fun ride. (it took me 12hours with a PUG, so actually u can already PUG him with enough time and when u swap "BAD" ppl out).
So stay calm little friend.
The logical nerf is just make his cast timers longer.

I heard (Rumors) that at TGS, people were lead to believe Titan (hard) was "Fun" because they used the story 45 mode Titan patterns with 8 people instead of 4 (Also 3 bar Limit break, AF & Relics - Which as we know you can't use AF & its a fight to get relic so cant be balanced using one!), Also lack of lagg, creating a flase illusion that it was easier & also "fun'er" than it is to get new players. ~ Also a quick Youtube search has videos which show part/s of this to be true.
This is the real Titan Hard:

LAgg Hard with no comment on when they going to fix it!
DEV reply would be nice on the rumors & when the lagg is going to be fixed & why is hasnt been commented on.

Titan is about the difficulty of Turn 1 and 2 Coil.
It will most certainly be nerfed come 2.2, when they expand Coil and don't want players getting left behind.
