How so though? 95% of MMO's use gear treadmill and power creep to foster in a one up procedure over and over throughout the games content, usually at the expense of more varied, leisure content. Saying it wont change game from game is pretty accurate.

It does sound like MMOs in general just might not be your thing. Good luck finding out what you do enjoy for the future! Maybe single player games are more your thing. =3

Though there are some MMOs out there that cater a lot more to the solo gamer in terms of having more fun mini games and other more interesting things you can do alone. Every game has a different feel to it, but if you don't enjoy dungeons here, you aren't likely to enjoy those in any MMO really, and if you really don't like crafting here, again, not likely to enjoy it in other MMOs. The crafting here is more interesting than most.

I've been playing MMO's for over 10 years, it's only the past couple years that they've gone utterly boring. Square and Enix were both companies that held my heart for their games. The story and gameplay were riveting. Now they've merged and it's almost like all the innovation was crushed leaving behind bean counters who hold the purse strings giving out orders as to how the game should be because this, this and that game were/are popular and they use it.

That's just how it feels to me. The storyline was great, had me wanting to play more and more. After that ended the rest of it is just... shallow. Yea. It feels like there's no depth to it. I've liked swimming in deep water too long to be splashing around in the kiddy pool.

I just want to do more crap outside of fighting, crafting or grinding boring FATE's. FATE's are killing me due to how buggy they are and how they are pretty much required to get anywhere to progress in this game, once you've ran out of quests. Subs...don't get me going there.
But y'know, you aren't allowed to have opinions on this game. Whatever you say is
"Go back to WoW." Or "Leave." comments. -Shrugs; 2.1 seems promising so I'ma check that out. First part of MMO's are usually a bust, within patches it giddy's up more from there on.
Whether SE does good in this is the the deal here. I don't care for PvP but housing and CT looks neat.
