Healing and Fates.. Why isn't it working anymore?

I find myself doing the same now I'm working on my CNJ. The amount of tells I get thanking me for heals and raises is insane. Makes a nice change since I tanked my way to 50 and got little to no thanks at all, not that I mind since I know that I did a good job. After being left for dead on a number of FATEs and not being healed myself, now playing as a healer I like to help out when I can.

I agree. The thanks and cheers I get for doing something I'm meant to do (but not expected to) far outweighs any medals or exp.

That is a nice thought, but some of us are doing FATEs to level. Sadly, the most important thing to me is getting experience, helping people comes second. I will throw out one or two heals if I see someone dying but that's about it. You will find me as a Conjurer, not a White Mage, dealing as much damage as I can in these things.

I agree with the people who think this is a completely broken system. I'm sorry. I really think that healers should get experience in these fusterclucks for healing. It shouldn't matter if you're in a group or not. Many times I am in a group and everyone else in it is ranged dps and they don't need healing for example. It's always someone outside the group it seem.
