Guess you didn't play XI then. SE combated RMT HARD, to the point where they were completely gone. Also, i'm not sure if any other servers had this. But there was a specific group of RMT on Alexander and they were the COOLEST people. They actually talked to you like a normal human being with an RMT flair of course.. People would run Kirins and sky farm with them.. Incredibly efficient. They'd also give a sweet discount on items if you helped them farm. Was fun!

What do I care about the facts? SE did something about the RMT - they were gone. As for the "innocents" that got banned in the process, how many were actually innocent? Gil buying was a big thing in XI.
