I cannot speak for Tai Chhe and rare...however I recently joined Hot Shot's fc and helped them merc Titan for people twice tonight.

They killed titan both times in one try. Honestly they didn't need even need me, their dps is there and they know what they're doing.

Again not insulting any other merc group but I can guarantee Hot Shot's group gets it done and quickly. I'm sorry to say that yes the price is high, but its the same price everyone else is selling...which consists of only a very small number of groups (3-4). Also as someone mentioned before hand, the buyer doesnt need to do anything in the battle, they can jump off or what have you. If they want to fight with the ones they're buying from thats great but it's not needed.

I myself have beaten titan with a few different groups, some being pugs...and the thing that makes people win, or at least get close to it is joining a voice chat. If someone is calling out what happens, it makes it easier.
The reality is gear doesn't matter if you don't dodge. You HAVE to dodge every hit. Before heart it's w.e as long as you dont die, but after he astroflows you need to dodge, dodge and dodge.

If you do Pug again, get them on a voice chat on some kind. Hope it helps.

Anyway, I fell DF players are getting better now. Except some need Better gear.
Believe me guys. Even if you are good, this is not enough for this battle. You need better gear for higher and faster dps and better healing!

Pretty much why I won't even try until I have full DL set (gloves being AF+2, possibly even a second piece). LS already has an awesome WHM, need to get this one awesome Scholar there as well. Still need one another awesome healer, though this one healer has the relic, but I'm worried of his HP, even though he has done it (going in with 3 healers and 1 tank).

Even with good preparations, I'm afraid we'll never make it because the lag there is horrible (My friend has WotL show the AoE for .5 seconds until blowing up, impossible to dodge). :/ I really don't want to pay for something I definitely could do otherwise, eventually.

Leon Seifer and his crew are legit. 700k will get you through in 10 mins (or less if you know the fight and don't make them do all the work).

That activity hasn't been documented on Balmung to my knowledge. I've heard of it happening elsewhere, though.

700k is cheap. That's 3-4 hours of castrum runs tops...just need to go sell peacock ore or something. Much faster than trying to accomplish it w/ a PUG.

Not that i heard anything happened at Balmung. Pretty sure it was from Ultros or something.

I did join a pug on Balmung and had successful killed titan. So as my friend did join different pug and had successful as well.
Just need make friend with people who know how to dodge and win. It's not that hard, we had one white mage that kept hit all time, we replace him and got it successful.

although i do agree that joining someone premade is much faster. but im just saying that pugs in Balmung is doable :P
