I kinda can't stand her. I also wanted to punch half the Scions towards the end of the main story quest.
Just facepalm central.
lol and you think Cid would represent XIV on Dissidia? I lol'd pretty hard.
Thancred and Minfillia IMO will be representing XIV in Dissidia. I really don't see who else it could be. but Cid??? come on man. do better than that
Yeah, she definitely sounds perfect in JapaneseI love the way Minfilia and also Merlwyb sound like strong, natural leaders, while still keeping a unique feminine quality that matches their looks.
In English, the poorly done British accent is too cringe-worthy >.< (It's a shame, the British-ish accents were actually decent in the 1.0 opening cutscenes...)

again, i don't think a character who has demonstrated any fighting prowess would be selected to appear in Dissidia. The reason I say Cid is he's the only major character who has done anything cool in combat. Thancred is another good candidate, though.
She sounds just fine in english. I'm sick of people glorifying the JP voiceovers. I'm sure they sound great if you know Japanese, but I can't appreciate a voice I can't understand. most of the NA voiceovers were well done. There are a couple notable exceptions, like a certain annoying lalafell for instance. If you don't think the English minfilia is good, I challenge you to find a better voice actor other than a major movie star.She is by far my most favourite NPC, try playing the cutscene audio in Japanese her sounds very perfect!

Papalymo, Yda, Y'shtola, and Thancred have all had more cool combat scenes on their own than Minfilia and Cid combined.
Honestly,I prefer Yda myself :P
She's kickass awesome.
My personal NPC favorite is Gaius van Baelsar. >.>;;
Livia is a bitch that needed to be buried long ago.
As for the topic, Minfilia...I suspect that she may be a dancer, job/class wise. I would like to see what she's really capable of, though.
