    Arc/Mrd Crossclass

    Hey guys,

I have MRD R17 at the moment, and I intend to get r24/r28 skills(for incapacitation) and I'd like to ask:

Provided I don't want any skills messing with hate, is there any other skill you guys recommend me using on my archer? If so, why?

    Thanks!

I think this topic should be asked in ARC section but it's ok if you want us marauders to give you a little suggestion.

In my opinion, if you want crossskills tat aren't messing with enmity. You should looking for Lancer rather than Marauder.
Lancer has some enfeebling skills too.
    R08 Moonrise - reduce target's TP generation
R18 Comrade in Arms - place debuff that give PT's TP generation on target.
R28 Heavy Trammel - Reduce movement speed
    ...

But I never play Archer before, so I don't know which skill work well with ARC.
That why I recommend you better to ask your archer friends.

For ARC i believe you might only use Bloodbath from MRD. And you can always use skull sunder and maim on any job. Its great to have regardless of classes (maim deals more damage at my THM than my nukes lol) since these 2 skills are the pearls of this classe.

I'd suggest defender too, but for ARC having skills that lower attack isn't really nice. For crossclass skill, i'd suggest you to look for GLA skills. Rampart, Still precision, Cadence, Obsess and some other skills wuld be great too have as ARC.

Skull Sunder II and Trunksplitter II for incapacitation WS, and then Bloodbath and Maim would be the most useful for ARC.

I got both BloodBath/Still Precision, I'm to lazy to get cadence ; ;.
Btw, doesn't Rampart increase enmity or something?

The ones I listed already were R24/R28(Trunksplitter II/Skull Sunder II), but I appreciate the feedback on Maim, how good/useful is it?

    Thanks Everybody.

Maim is good for the def down debuff, and would mainly be useful solo. Bloodbath, too. If you're playing in a party most of the time, though, you really don't need any MRD skills.

Since the accuracy on maim sucks, it's most useful as an opening attack so you have 100% accuracy. Get a mob near death. nock 2 arrows, heavy shot to kill it, move on to the next mob, open with maim, then do raging strike + nocked lightshot.

Rampart only boosts def and m.def. The one that boosts enmity is defender, but also only with steadfast active.

I have 50 Arc and Mrd and the skills you would need from Mrd are situational.
On NMs i've only used skull sunder for incaps and murderous intent for the crit boost on BR weapon skills

Enduring March may be good depending on the situation. It's a great stun-be-gone. But if you already have all those other classes up, you probably won't need it. Seeing as you won't have to worry about it very much.
