proposal：please make each job have their own mythology cap each week！

im pretty sure there are people like me who would like to have af2 and relic+1 for all their disciple of war and magic jobs, with current system, it will take years to do it.

what if you make each job have their own mythology cap each week? which you can gain only by using that job to queue for dungeons.
and also make all the accessories，bracelet and belt job specific which can only be used by the job you use to buy them. this way it will not ruin players' progression in binding coil.

this system might look like it will take a lot less time than the current system to fully gear out all your jobs with ilv90s, but farming AK still take time, right now people are farming AK at least 7~8 times each week (7 times or less if you farm primals), each run take approximately 30~40 minutes.

with this idea, only real hardcore players will have enough time to cap multiple jobs' mythology each week. it will take huge amount of time to do it, and i dont think it will ruin binding coil at all.

Meh The idea of a Myth cap is so people don't farm endlessly. We'll probably see a free company come in like Paragon, Method, or Blood Legion that requires people to have literally every class at level cap on different alts so they can class stack. The myth cap being character based is to prevent people from doing exactly that on one character.

MOST of your gear is supposed to come from the Binding Coil, as well as Philosophy tomes. Mythology tomes were NEVER intended to be a primary source of gear, only a secondary income while you also raid.

In other words, MOST of the gear you will collect from the Binding Coil, and later the Crystal Tower, will be usable across a broad range of classes, allowing you, for example, to gear your Paladin and Warrior with the same gear, your Lancer and Monk with the same gear, your Scholar and White Mage with the same gear, etc.

Exceptions being, of course, the AF2 gear, and your Relic+1.

System is fine. Doesn't need changed and made more complicated.

its not for gearing up, its for collection.

i believe there are lots of people playing this game just to get all their jobs wearing relic and af
and make all their hand and land jobs wear job AF as well.

lots of people dont even like to go into binding coil, they dont want to treat this game as a JOB, they would play by their own.

honestly, in Japanese server, people do pugs a lot more than in NA server, even binding coil, and their pugs are just amazing.

and you can see many japanese players who has all jobs including crafting and gathering jobs maxed out at lv50, AND all relic weapon for all their jobs, have not joined a FC.

Pugs don't exist because people put artificial caps on them along with the issues with servers initially on NA servers. JP players are also probably more used to the grindcore feel that lots of MMOs have (farming Darklight) and don't whine about it as much.

Square Enix is protecting their raid content; there is probably not a chance that they would ever cave on this.

In the future, they will lower the cost of AF2 and Relic+1 gear to match new content. Wait until then to collect them and focus on one class for now.
