SE Banning players with large amounts of gil?

I wonder if it has something to do with selling 2 star recipe items, that seems to be a common factor for.those saying they were suspended.

I believe it's just people with a large amount of Gil. I started playing on Gilgamesh as soon as phase 4 / early release came out with the intent of getting a gathering class to 50 and then to start crafting ASAP in order to make myself ton's of Gil so that I wouldn't have to worry about any money issues when I started leveling my Disciples of War / Magic. I made over 10 million gil this way in the first few weeks the server came out, because everyone was in a mad rush to get their relic items created. (Hundreds upon hundreds of players on one of the most populated servers looking to the only 1-2 Crafters on the entire server that can make the relic weapon they need = tons of profit).

I never made a 2 star recipe item on that character, EVER. After the initial rush and prices died down, I decided to start on the new server that opened with my friends because they could not get onto Gilgamesh since it was always full.

I haven't played on my Gilgamesh character in over two weeks, and I still got suspended.

Those are gil buyers.

And don't believe them when they say "but... but I never bought gil!". 90% of the time it's just a lie.

What reason would I have to buy Gil, having multiple crafting classes at 50 and also a 50 miner? I made PLENTY of profit by starting gathering / crafting first, their was/is absolutely no reason for me to buy Gil. You can look up both my characters, "Lalafell Lafell" and "Fate Forever" to see just how active I was in crafting and gathering.

If I start producing 2 star gear and making serious gil, am I going to be banned too? seriously i would like an answer?

I'm just trying to save up for my own large house when the time comes.

I'm guessing it may be targeting people with over 1,000,000 gil.

Most of these people are either Win sellers, who sell a win run for 500K and higher, and chest farmers, who have abused the current system to gather High value mats people pay high amount of gil for by joining groups and making people who want to run the dungeon leave so they can continue to harass another goup they will join to continue their chest farming.

I have 6.4mil legitimately... God they better not dare ban me. D:

Ah, so it looks like 8 figures is the magic number. I can think of a few people I know who will get hit by this on Coeurl, and who will be immensely displeased with SE. If I had chosen something less useless than ARM for my first 50, I'd probably be one of the people banned, ha.

Edit2: I just got off the phone with support. The support fellow (very helpful) let me know that the account is banned for 72 hours for RMT investigation. He put me on hold for a few minutes and came back to let me know that his colleagues are all dealing with calls about this as well - his best guess is that they blanket banned folks with a lot of gil and will be figuring out which are RMT and which aren't. This is a terrible way of going about this, but it's better than directly being banned for the titular reason

Well, I haven't gotten any emails yet, but 10mil blanket ban would be beyond stupid - I started 2.0 with more than that, and I am not even one of the rich crafters :/
