High-level crafters beware: You get suspended if you sell to players who bought gil

Well, if they managed to clean up the dirty gil while still retaining honest players' progress and honestly generated gil this way (sorry for you guys who get banned for a few days and lost game time) then SE definitely has my respect.

At first I was skeptical but then you read the reddit thread and there's like 5-10 other people reporting the same thing. All banned for selling really rare stuff on markets and seemingly having 10+m gil. Could SE really be that stupid? .... don't answer that.

What makes you (or the Reddit poster) think that they were suspended for selling to a player who bought gil?

It seems like the player was banned and he's just guessing as to the cause...

Cause if u read it on reddit, the emails they get tell the same story of TOS violation AND all say the same, they had all over 8digits gil (same as our FC Member) and were trading over the Marketplace and via "Trade" requests. And i now atleast for myself, that our FC Member got his gil over trading and the marketplace, he leveled nearly 5 DoH to max and has on every DoH HQ T2 crafts made. Its 100% legit - he did buy "coke" from other players but then again - coke is earned via philosophy tomestones and a normal trading good.

So u count 1+1 = suspended.

I made over 13 million gil on my character by being one of the first high level crafters being able to make relics and one of the first high level gatherers, I did NOTHING illegal and never associated with RMT or the like. My account was also suspended. (This was my character "Lalafell Lafell" on the server Gilgamesh)

so if anyone who buys off the auction house items you made you can get banned? that makes no sense. I think the private party sells are the most dangerous to deal with but regardless its still worrisome if any is the case that could get you banned

Kind of concerning, I've made quite a bit of gil in the past few days off of selling Peacock Ore. :/

So then... Half this game is dead to me then, was bad enough with Potash/etc came from tomestones, now apparently you can be banned for making stuff with it... Jesus Christ Square, just remove crafting altogether if you don't want anyone doing it....

It sounds like it more a mater of the amount of gil they managed to generate flagged their account. It's freeking funny as heck that they would suspend or ban an account for too much gil when they allow account to sit in general chat spamming for hours on end.
