Aright aright ... I agree that the interupt abilities need to be quicker, specially with how quick some of these boss spells are ... but youre out of your mind if you think thats the reason they had 14m subs.

You do realize that the second you push the button, the move is activated right? you can use another move before the animation is finished and both moves will happen at about the same time. I constantly use venomous bite while the bloodletter animation is still going
No it doesn't, you need to manage your skills better. You need to anticipate if and when you need to use your off-CD abilities, I'm sorry if this is too difficult for you, but the devs have no plans to change this.

Based on the way the game was designed, and also taking into account the current level of difficulty, the development team has no plans to change the timing in which non-global cool down actions can be used, and would like players to take this into consideration when forming strategies.
I don't think 14 million people jumped into WoW solely on the premise that off-GCD abilities were instant.
We also have the right to point out areas where we feel we'd like to see the game improved. It is not a crime to critique a game - or anything - and certainly if one loves a product, one would logically want to see it improved where it can be improved. This is wise consumership.
I think the OP was using sarcasm as an introduction to the real problem.
Ok, let's say you play Pugilist and you fight a mob with annoying spells. When the mob starts casting, you launch Steel Peak to stun the cast. But if the ability has a delay of 1-2 seconds to activate, you'll frequently stun too late if you add your reaction time.
The main point of Stun is precisely to interrupt spells, so I don't understand how it is "not a problem" if the delay prevents this.
I play in France, on a North American server, and this delay is almost always there.
Off topic. The thread you quote complains about waiting a little time between skills, like a hidden cooldown. The problem here is the time between entering the command and starting the animation, like a delay.
