I can tell you though that you don't have to use Xilrasis's brute force strategy - it probably works for them because of their group composition + extra gear (they were one of the first FCs into coil). There is nothing wrong with feeding fireballs unless we later find out there is a hard enrage timer and you need to shave some time off phase 2.

The point, though, is that most FCs are never having to put Fireballs into the Conflag.
They can soak all of them and never get overlapping Waxen Flesh.

Don't really know what other FCs are doing. Have only seen one stream and they were still wiping to phase 2. Just do what works for your own raid. Your luck with loot drops matters. Example: Our second raid group has almost zero Allagan on their DPS, so they have to feed fireballs.
