My best guess is November 14th, as that is when they stated the Lightning cross-over thing is going to happen.

Except it's already been confirmed(along with leaked screenshots of the Halloween event) that both are currently in the data files, neither will require 2.1 to be added. I'm also of the opinion though if they care about their playerbase at all then they need to release this thing early November before too many jump ship because there's little to do at endgame and this patch has so many qol changes that i'm surprised they want to hold them off for an actual patch.

Most games are patched furiously just after release. I would be very surprised if we made it through all of October without 2.1.

If all this contained was new primal modes, fc housing(since personal won't be till 2.2) and some balance changes i'd have to agree. But the fact that this patch is literally half if not more of the endgame(most of which was near completion at launch) and they have shoved so many qol changes into patch they need to bring it out as fast as they can. A lot of the changes in the patch are things that should be in every mmo right off the bat, not wait 3+ months to bring out when the core audience that wants those features have jumped ship because they did not like waiting for things that should have been there at the start.
