If you even had the presence of mind to actually read your own thread as other forum goers have, you will see that several comments OTHER people have made, have been agreed with and received a few well deserved thumbs up. What you basically argued is that you can graduate middleschool. Unfortunately you graduated at the bottom of your class, which is actually what matters. You'll be lucky to finish highschool. College won't even be an option.

Honestly, a mrd piddling around at HPBB is about all I'd trust the job's design with. But congrats. You sure are grand at midbossing something on easyskates.

You all have no clue how fast you'll be dropped the second the content gets tough. Oh well. At least I'm a marauder. Someone will look out for it. You can huff and puff and blow nothing down all you want.

Marauder needs a new design and new party role. Period. You might be able to get away with class pride around a clan of fanboy marauders, but if you try the posture in a group of archers, mages, and gladiators...they're just going to laugh their asses off at you and tell you to go level something useful.

You can't escape the pitfalls of FFXI in light of difficult content. You're either the best tank or you're the gimp tank. You're either the best crowd control or you're a gimp control. You're either the best DD or you're a gimp DD.

Marauder is 3rd and 4th best at everything they are pitched to do. That isn't viable.

Marauder's okay at its roles so long as it stays in the junior varsity league like yours is doing in those screenshots. It's no gladiator. It's no archer. It's no thaumaturge.

Hell it's not even on the same tier as a conjurer.

Go level REAL defense, REAL crowd control and REAL AoE jobs. You think you're good, when you're honestly not even average.

With this I am glad to say you have contradicted everything you have put so much effort into making long text of walls that we MRDs are useless, BR participators, can not tank, and can not crowd control. I am truly proud that you are now changing your gun hold ideals that we are indeed tanks. By all means bicker like a middle aged crisis man that we're at the bottom of the food chain with speculation and uncertainty on your next incoherent post, but do not expect to get anymore serious replies from a handful of us.

You're the best JV player. IE you can block better than the 110 pound kid and throw further than the waterboy.
Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you're actually good at it in comparing yourself to RELEVANT figures.

Are you THAT incapable of comprehending that every thing you just bragged about can be done better by someone else in this game?

If that's the case, not only will people laugh at the job eventually...they'll love doing it because at that point you just plain deserve it when you posture that you're THA BEST.

MRD is not good at anything. Gladiator is a better tank. Archer is a better DD. Mages are better crowd controllers. Every role you hope to earn is already filled by your superiors. The only use you have...is to fill one of those spots when they're not there. Your best bet, then, is to be the best little Haughtpox tank you can be, because that's all they're going to let you do. Again. Junior Varsity star. Benchwarmer where it matters.

Is that what you want? You go farm us some more scimitars while we take the glads, mages, and archers to raid better things? Fine lol...we'll do it like FFXI again if you're going to be one of those thieves who sit there and argue that you're an awesome job. You're a gimp job. Wish it weren't so, but it's so.

That's just poor design. No one is going to let you tank a Fafnir. No one is going to let you crowd control a Dynamis. No one is going to let you even damage something that matters.

If mobs get harder to kill, and the 30 minute rage timer stays...you're finished. If you try to tank, you'll die because you're no longer sufficient. If you try to crowd control, everyone will die because you're not reliable. If you try to DD it'll rage, because archer is better than you are and makes better use of that team spot.

Marauder's not viable. You think it is...I think you haven't played enough MMOs to be the judge of that.
