I tried really hard to read this, from what I'm gathering you believe (maybe in your time playing experienced) that WARs can't tank. A simple search would find that WARs are being used in all fights up to and including Turn 4 Coil. What you are experiencing is something I like to call "community preference" that is, like so many stated before the path of least resistance.

Example that you provided: You said that when joining a DF (i will assume Ifrit) if 2 warriors are present members of the group will leave.
This is something I have encountered, on the other hand though I have dual WAR Ifrit at this point more times that I can count. Does it make the fight more difficult? I don't think so but that is because I believe if you don't interupt eruptions everyone better know where to move.

Umm ... yey, a Warrior CAN tank? Warriors can absolutely tank any encounter a PLD is able to tank, it's all been done and proven. All Hardmode Primals have been successfully tanked by Warriors, every turn in the coil has been successfully tanked by warriorss (except for turn 5, but no one has yet beaten that turn, so that's not a Warrior issue).

All Hardmode Primals have been successfully tanked by Warriors, every turn in the coil has been successfully tanked by warrior's (except for turn 5, but no one has yet beaten that turn, so that's not a Warrior issue).

ok as you say it can but very hard work from whm and need too much work for all party to help warrior tank but if PLD like any mmorpg game he can tank normal so....
in this way mnk can tank or any class DD if they whms will stay just cure cure cure cure and loseing mp and brd songs mp and all stay back and look out waarior tanking or dd be like OMG what is this

Ok I am a 50 WAR now. I'm not fully geared in max armor but i have my AF, Ifrit axe, some DS armor, and I have fought up to Titan (HM).
I've been in lot of parties, soloed, and have done some dungeons and bosses like hydra. Anyway, I have played FFXI for long long time along with Lineage II, Rift, WoW, GW1 and 2 and i know some things from there.

Tank = job or class that can TANK <-- Anything or any mob because it's a tank yes?!!

Ok, so here in ffxiv WAR and PLD are tanks??!! Then why can't WAR tank like PLD? Even a VIT spec'd WAR like PLD? There are 2 tanks PLD and WAR lol --> why can't WAR tank at least 50% like PLD. ummmm

Is WAR only good at low lvls??? If so, then don't make it a tank. Make it STR not (VIT) so we can play and not get ignored from high level parties. And when 2 WARs are in the same duty finder party people leave!!!

So it is easy, make WAR a DD job ^^ and keep PLD as a TANK.
