Opinions on selling of Relic weapon runs

Buying gil is not a horrible idea if it was officially sanctioned (not addressing the wider consequences of such an action on the game's economy etc here, but let's just use a hypothetical where SE sells their own gil) - the issue with buying gil at the moment is that you encourage companies which actively compromise accounts and strongly reduce the playing experience of other players.

If you could buy gil officially, it would indeed be a cost-effective action.

I honestly don't see a problem with this. It's a way for a free company to make Gil to pay for their buff foods that they most likely supply their team members with. Along with any thing else they supply it saves them the trouble of leveling a crafter for these things.

Those peps that are complaint about how Titan weeds out the baddies and stop them from getting to coil what do you care you are not lugging coil with them no you are doing coil with your own fc.

No! I would never under, any circumstances, buy gil. It is, afterall, against the terms of service- and in no such way does my logic imply condone RMT. You seem to be missing the point entirely, and you are putting words in my mouth to boot.

All that i stated is that in the game economy gil serves the same function as money does in our real world economy. Currency is used as a means of exchange for goods or services provided. It is a convenient, common resource. Titan runs are an in game service offered by people such as myself in exchange for gil, not unlike the internet your ISP provides for you in exchange for money. What is so hard to understand about that???

Turning this into an argument over buying wins is pointless. If it's not right for you don't do it. If somebody else wants to do it that's none of your concern. I don't see the point of trying to talk down somebody who is simply supplying for a demand. Do i think taking shortcuts is a good thing? No. Do i care who takes a shortcut or who helps people do it? Nope.

Don't think this has much to do with doing other content most of them won't even bother i imagine. It's just about wanting the prize now instead of much much later. Yes i agree with TS. how dare them how dare them buy it with gil. Relic used to be weed out bad people. Before we can see relic user and know that they know how to craft and do Wanderer Palace. Now they will just buy it from the marketboard. How sickening is this? SE should have ban all the people who bought craft weapon and materia. They are suppose to craft it themselves to prove that they are truly hardcore and know how the game working.

Even if SE put something in place to stop selling/buying runs, all having a relic has ever proved in 2.0 is that you have met and grouped with 7 competent people (whether you were good or not).

Next you'll be saying FC's shouldn't help out their members if they are having a bad night or dodgy connection. Grow up.
The people who complain about stuff being sold are invariably either people who do not have the resources to buy it or sell it themselves.

It's an interesting topic to discuess no doubt.
But i will tell you this, i went AK last night with group of people that were retarded as fuck.
Kept wiping on the second boss over 10 times, eventually my spirit got broken and i have left.
I was doing perfectly fine, knew the fight, how to move and basically how to play - others did not.
I wasted a whole hour, right after i finished my shift at work - it was a little bit after midnight. It's one hour of my day that i will never get back.
Now i understand it's part of the game, but i dont see why i need to suffer playing with people who cant even understand the basics like move in time out of the red circle on the ground.
Imagine what pugs feel like on these HMs, it's just impossible to do with these sort of people. So yes,, people buy the option to play with people who are not braindead as an oak!
You dont buy your Relic, you buy the privilage to play with people who's on your level.

Not to mention people spam up to 50 in FATE not knowing what 90% of their skills to then run with their group and get carried to relic which is much worse
You know when you see someone in full AK gear with a Relic not +1 they are probably clueless about their job
