    I don't have a problem with the cost, it's the Myth cap that annoys me. It'd be reasonable to raise it to 500 a week. I mean come on, you just got your relic but you gotta wait 3 weeks to upgrade unless you stocked up, or 3 weeks for a chest piece and another for the legs. UGH makes me worried if I can get the full set before some patch comes up. Also that is just on 1 job out of all the classes you can be.

    I think it will get better once 2.1 hits. I do believe they said there will be new ways to get tomes. This makes sense since with new content, everyone will want to play so older content will become less cumbersome. I'm pretty patient so however long it takes is how long I'll take to do it.

    The issue isn't how you get your tomes, the issue is that to fully gear up a single job in a game that encourages you to level multiple jobs you have to dedicate an absurd amount of time. Say they introduced new dungeons that give 100 Mythology per victory so you cap in 3 dungeons. Ok, you still have to wait 2 weeks minimum just to buy an accessory. Binding Coil isn't any different, you have limited drops there and it's only reset once a week, and worse those drops are random.

    Allagan and AF2 have the same result when you use them to help clear Coil and harder content. You DO need the gear, but it'll be quite awhile before anyone has a full set of Allagan or AF2 - by the way, the accessories are 100% comparable too.

    I don't think this is an issue, at all. First of all, people are complaining that they are worried they won't get full AF+1 before the next patch. But the next patch is 2.1 and the Devs have stated that even in 2.1, Bahamut will still be the HARDEST content in the game. To me that says you won't be getting better armor until the patch AFTER 2.1 which will be ANOTHER 2 to 3 months AFTER 2.1, which doesn't even have a date yet.

    So you have plenty of time to get your stones in, sheesh.

    I feel like they do this intentionally to stretch out content. I think they could do a better job of it, though. Like how they make Vanya Silk and Rose Gold Ingots and whatever take NINE of the mix ins, making it take for example 40 hours of Praetorium speed runs to get the ATP needed for craft a full Vanya set (lulz). This solution was total overkill, and makes crafting seem generally stupid since you could just progress more and get even better gear than Vanya or whatnot (probably in less time, too - definitely way less to get equivalent gear).

    I think it's pretty obvious they will fix this problem with ATP and this thread's beef with ATM, but not until there is more more more content to pad everything out. Good luck getting them to do anything about it before then (no matter how silly it is that you need over 2,000 ATP to craft an Astral Ring).

    i don't mind the time itself, it takes time to get the best stuff but:
    • spending all this time if a new better shiny one comes up 1 months after > no
    • running 150+ times the exact SAME dungeon > No

    And please don't say "Welcome to MMO" or something like that
    There are plenty of dungeons that we will never do again because you don't need anything from them (apart from helping others)

    They should allow to get some tomes from there as well to redistribute people
    • that would help new players to go through their story
    • that would avoid huge queues for the only 2 dungeons you can farm

    The problem isn't that it is too hard. A lot of people in here are defending the amount of time it takes by saying sarcastic things like "Oh no, it requires time and effort?" when in reality it is only time, because the effort it takes to do AK is pretty much nil. They need to either get rid of the 300 per week cap which is just BS to make people stay subbed for doing the same content over and over, or raise the cap to at least 600 per week.

    300 a week is not enough for the mechanics of this game, that being single characters can use more than one job. The problem here is this amount is a complete joke vs the cost of items, with 300 you cannot even recieve one piece a week. Then, there is the relic upgrade which requires 900. Of all the myth items I would say the relic upgrade is the only I can see being reasonably fair with the amount needed vs the cap.

    The next issue lies in the fact there's only one effecient area to get these, but also takes little effort to obtain, leading to anoher issue, that being getting i90 gear with little to no effort. So from my stand point the entire setup currently is very flawed and badly thought out.

    Nothing really takes effort to get, nothing is actually hard to obtain, it is merely stuck behind time contraints, which makes endgame a complete joke. Sure, there's coil but the only reason that's not already on farm is because we're missing crystal tower, the gear we were also most likely going to ez mode grind for to be finely geared to take coil head on. Kinda went off topic but yeah, point is, system is terrible and needs to be rethought in general, not just capacity increase.
