    Duty Finder Avoid list

Give us an option to filter out people we want to avoid from future runs. I think this better option than vote kick.

Or they should come up with a rating system similar to LoL's. Then the really crappy players can go down to Ello Hell, and play with other bad players. Allow good players to play with other good players, and keep all the bad ones at the bottom.

filtering people means filtering classes to. you would filter classes wich you think are bad wich leads to forcing ppl to change classes wich leads to more rage threads in forum and balance issues. use shouts for your party balance.

Who cares if certain classes get discriminated against. Its SE's job to balance the classes, not the players jobs to work around bad balance, and poor development.

Party leaders should have some options when it comes to using the DF. Put Coil in the DF, and give the party leader the ability to examine the gear and class of all the players available in the df, use all that info and build a party. Sure some ppl will get left out, but that is their problem for not having correct gear, or playing a crappy class that has no value at end game. SE will fix balance issues if they are an issue, but taking the options away from the players to protect the weak, and stupid doesn't help anyone.

Funny you should talk about that when you don't even have thaumaturge leveled to 26 for swiftcast and your gear is mediocre at best, ironic isn't it lol.

Obviously DL gear is mediocre at best. I am in an almost full DL set, and the filler pieces are from AK. Not sure what your idea of decent gear is. All this sure is Ironic considering I brought up class balance. Herp, a derp a derpy derp.

Any kind of system that allows you to negatively impact someone's reputation will be grounds for abuse.

The system they've proposed is ok as it gives a good rating for people who play well and aren't nasty towards their fellow player, but it still doesn't do anything to dissuade people from engaging in bad behavior during DF groups.

You can't know the circumstances about why someone doesn't have high MVP ranking as we don't know much about the system yet. Can you opt not to vote for someone? I'm the kind of person that skips surveys so I may be someone that falls into the group of "I don't want to take the time to vote for someone, regardless if they were the best player I've ever encounter in that role."

These are the types of scenarios that need to be explored while developing the rating system.

Rating systems will always be abused. The OP had a better idea of a simple blacklist. You do a run with a group of players and that BLM over there is an asshole the entire time, add him to your DF Blacklist and now you wont be grouped with him anymore.

I would love to see an avoid list. I've run into a couple of people that have proven themselves to lack any form of social skills and generally are just jerks, and would certainly love to be able to guarantee I never have to suffer through their incessant QQing for another full run.

and avoid list seems fair enough, but any more detailed selection is unnecessary, cuz players should be doing that on their own, in their own servers.

also, as ppl have suggested vote-kick options - well its nice, but not many players choose 'join dungeon in progress option'. i would love to see, after the implementation of vote-kicking, the added feature where the DF invites the next player on the queue to join the dungeon, meanwhile detailing:

    1. time remainin
    2. party set up
    3. reason for vacancy, which would be filled up via a checklist by existing members i.e. a) disconnection b)inappropriate behavior c) unsuitable class etc
