Now that I think about it, SE could even add it into the chat log like this:

- Show sales made by retainer [1]
- Show all sales made by retainer [1]
- Show all sales made by retainer [1] ever 12 hours
- Show all sales made by retainer [1] ever 6 hours
(etc)
- Show sales made by retainer [2]
- Show all sales made by retainer [2]
- Show all sales made by retainer [2] ever 12 hours
- Show all sales made by retainer [2] ever 6 hours
(etc)

Something along those lines.

As of right now there is an option on the main menu listed:

Retainers

It's absolutely useless. Oh wait, unless you needed to be reminded of your retainers name. Or if you forgot which order you created your two retainers in.... sad lol

Give it a purpose.

W does AH alearts when stuff get sold. I didn't mind it and I thought it was helpful I would love this info as on my retainer I found most of my stuff sold just as soon as I left the ward. (10K for me woot) This will also help those who got a ton to sell. 10 slots isn't alot, and some people (myself included) store tons of items to sell, and can use that time waiting wiser to keep our retainer stocked up to sell off that stuff.

I'd love to be able to pay for linkpearls that I can give to my Retainers so they can give me updates whenever they make a sale.

Now I know what you're thinking, "why give me updates every time?" Well, of course this could be a customizable feature, such as the following examples:

(Imagine this is your retainer screen under the menu)
- Report on sales equaling [e.g. 3] items
- Report on sales equaling [e.g. 30,000] gil

or...

- Only gather reports whenever I've activated the pearl.

So why is this good? One reason is if I leave one of my retainers in Limsa (because his items sell better there) and my other in Ul'dah, etc, then I won't have to travel to either city only to find that my retainer hasn't sold anything.

Please discuss.

I think this would be awsome. It would also be great if you were out and about killing sheep in La Nocea and all of a sudden recieved a system message in a unique color saying " Your sale of "Gladiators Epic Shield of The Trash Lid" has been sold for 1 Gil.
