Tiny Lalafell Blues

So all the way through FFXI i regretted my 17 year old decision to make a Hume and ALWAYS wanted to be a Tarutaru.. So after a 5 year break this game appears on my radar and what do i do i make a Taru FINALLY omg i love him i really do....

but....

I can't see my weapons.. and my gear is smushed up.. it's such a bummer that I have to decide over the character i have always wanted or actually seeing that i am wearing cool gear..

There is no fix and i am not asking for one i am just sharing my thoughts on the matter..

I have wondered whether i should use the 1 time character changer but that brings up 2 more problems.. what if i miss my Taru which I will lol.. and my in-game last name is Taru lol..

Anyone else feel a bit ehh about their gear as a Lalafell?

To be honest, in 1.0 I started out as a Hyur. Ran around a bit, saw 4 lalafells sitting around a campfire swaying in unison and immediately remade myself into one. Skip to 2.0, decided to make a mancat, and liked him a lot. But once I got my lala back, I just couldn't bring myself to change. A friend actually went from lala to miqo'te but guess what. They don't have a fantasia bottle anymore :P
