Eos: The Tank.

Did Qarn tonight with some friends, we got a tank, he left before we even started fighting the first mob. We decided to try and let my fairy tank. (We're experienced in Qarn so we weren't worried much) It tanked all the mobs including the first boss! LOL

We just let it build hate by having it spam heal embrace on herself, she managed to hold all the mobs aggro until one got down to 20% and went after a DPS.

For the first boss, we let it sit and heal for about a minute, then went in. She managed to hold aggro extremely well. She only lost it once when I had to move her onto a glowing platform to remove Doom, but soon regained the aggro. I just kept Sustain up on her the entire time and would occasionally toss an Adlo when the bees came, but other than that she kept herself alive well just by spamming, which in turn kept the boss aggro'd on her.

Unfortunately a tank came after we finished the first boss. I would've liked to see how well she would do on the other bosses, lol.


Sad thing is, she held aggro better than the tank that came. u-u


(We tried Selene on one of the random mobs to see how well she would do, but she died. No regen=death apparently, lol)

Eos and probably Selena have the advantage of having an Enmity Bug though. So they do hold hate rather well. I have noticed several times where just having one of them out and the tank pulls a group of mobs all the mobs except the one he tagged go for the fairy even though she hasn't done ANYTHING. Still pretty sweet you tried this out though.

Interesting, wish it will work in world map where there are less aggro. Bore of switching to Summoner when solo-ing already.

We let Titan egi tank pratoreum the other night to troll our warrior because why are they even a class? Seemed like Titan's hate was bugged, no one but the summoner owning the titan could pull hate off him despite all of us having a maxed hate bar the entire time.

I had Eos tank second last boss of prae other night...really not sure why, the tanks just seemed to decide they weren't going to tank anymore and were standing with the DD's I was running around wondering why the boss kept facing me when I'd only cast one spell until I realised he was targetting fairy <_>

I've only seen this happen with Eos and only when the tank goes in while he still has regen on him.
Basically the regen ticks and pulls aggro on Eos before the tank gets any aggro.

Idk why but regen seems really bugged it seems to ignore the healing formula for threat which is if you heal for 300 hp you get 150 threat. I tried having my whm spam medica 1 to pull threat it wont work but if he spams medica 2 his threat goes up like crazy.
