Dedicated JP server for english speakers unable to play on NA/EU

I live in australia. my ping to NA/EU is 400+ all dungeons from lvl 40 are pretty much inpossible as the lag means i get hit 100% of the time from boss AOE.
I am stuck on stone vigil for this reason.

I get 150-200 ping on JP servers, makes it much easier for an aware player to avoid AOE.

But the problem is it is a server set made for Japanese speakers.
But the latency is much lower.

But being an english only speaking player JP will make it hard for me to do dungeons and any other social content.

I am aware tiamat and tonberry are meant to have the highest english speaking playerbase, but that only lessens the issue.

I am suggesting a JP server to be added made specifically for english speakers so we can have the low ping without the language barrier, i feel this is much more reasonable a request then a whole oceanic data center.

Anyone else got the same issues i do and would like to see this implemented?

Tonberry is kind of what you're looking for. I hardly see anyone shouting in Japanese, everyone is more or less shouting in English. It feels very English to me, even if it's meant to be a Japanese server. I don't get language barrier problems here.

I heard Masamune is a mix server, I was there in 1.0 and I kinda regret moving off it xD but yeah people say its a mix.

I would love to see this happen, I'm a fellow Aussie so latency and lag to the NA/EU clusters does become an issue.

The only other thing I would rather see is an Aus/Oceana cluster for our region, it wouldn't matter if it only had say 4-6 different worlds but at least it'd be local and we wouldn't have many language barriers to deal with.

The legacy servers also have a higher english speaking population than most of the others, you can also try those.

Same goes for Fenrir. You get the occasional shout in JP but its mostly English. Same deal in Typhon, actually. Im starting to think either there are more foreign players in JP than local, or they have a reeeally good auto translater in this game, lol.

Anyway, Tonberry seems to be the one most English speakers have gone to ... its the most popular server forum on the JP Group. At least, the one with most threads. /shrug

Well I feel your pain...im currently in Exodus since the start of this game...it's great that im in a NA server and in a awesome FC but the time zones and latency kills...especially when I live in Sydney...im hoping for the world transfer soon but that'll also mean ill have to leave my FC which I don't want to...unless someone can confirm we can stay when we transfer worlds?

I agree with you guys, and i would very much like to think that this is in process, i am almost certain they would be thinking of implying it soon.
I am sure we have a big enough population to support an entire Oceanic Realm/Cluster.
It would be nice to get come confirmation/acknowledgement from the Gm's or w.e, that they are doing so, because its Almost impossible to dodge spells, and gathering/mounting/spells have way to much lag. Even Battle ping doesn't seem to help...
