west coast players are 3 hours ahead of east coast. their 9pm is our 12am. and our 6pm is their 3pm. I think they do vanafest in the west coast is because their US offices are in the west coast

There do seem to be a lot of east-coasters playing both this and XI. There was an old figure that stated that 75% of the country's population lived east of the Mississippi River. Living in San Diego, I do feel for you guys. Maybe its a weather thing, maybe its a space thing. I hear you guys are pretty cramped in NYC/Philadelphia area. I'm sure the reason we get things like E3 in Los Angeles and ComicCon in San Diego are for the weather. I don't wanna be anywhere near places like Florida or New York in June and July. And I also feel that California in general is way more progressive than the rest of the country when it comes to technological things. You've heard of east-coast bias in the sports media, right. Maybe there's a west-coast bias for technology, iunno. And as far as SE in particular, I'm sure NYC has an ample asian population, California is by far the leader in that as well as far as I've seen, its just a matter of geography. I'm just makin all this stuff up as possible reasons why you don't get things like this, I have no idea, but I'm sure a lot has to do with proximity to Japan and the weather.

Yeah good point as well. I remember the old XI support number was a local 858 area code. I thought that was really cool heh. I think they've since moved to Los Angeles.

I love a Eastcost fanfest but it wont happen the last one was done in japan. They said now that SE is more of a World company. They said maybe they do one year in EU one in JP and one in NA but for sure it be in CA like alway everything end up in CA -.-

i hoping i get a job and go to fanfest if they do one
