How much Determination is 1 Mind

As far as i'm aware Determination does not equal you (healer) healing better, but affects how well your heals hit the other player, IE tanks with more determination will be healed better.

Someone brings this up in nearly every thread discussing Determination. I see your main is listed as Conjurer, so I have a very simple test for you: Go into town and cast Regen on a low-level crafter (they will have low Det, likely 30 or so). Make note of the healing tics. Then cast Regen on yourself with your 200+ Det.

Pretty sure the healing tics will be the same.

Determination is a stat to directly increase your output, be it weapon skill damage, spell damage, healing, or auto attacks.

Rizzo is correct, if my healing were based on the amount of determination other people had, my cures, regens, and medicas would have hugely varied results on each individual target. This is not the case though, Determination is for yourself only.

I've personally tested this on our main tank. I had him wear full gear, cast Cure 1, average 910 healing. Had him take off all his gear, still an average of 910 healing. Tested this multiple times with multiple spells, just to see if his determination changed anything at all. We used specific +determination materia enhanced gear as well, nothing changed.
